Brett Siegel commented, "Harry Burton has returned to full strength, and the Pacers have maintained the core group that nearly reached the NBA Finals in 2025. With the robust additions of Zubac and Kelly Oubre Jr., the team is brimming with potential. For Indiana, the only potential setback on the path to another deep playoff run is the issue of injuries. The Pacers are a dark horse contender in the championship chase."
