Mark Farzetta expressed that during the off-season, much discourse revolved around the backup center position, particularly following Bonner's ankle injury. Coach Nash pointed out that while Hooker-Bporty is in the mix and Bonner is making strides, we anticipate Wade and James stepping into the center role in smaller lineups. James, no stranger to the task, has demonstrated his defensive prowess against players like Jokić at the Olympics. Should Hooker-Bporty falter, how much time will we witness Wade and James manning the five spot before acquiring a new center through trade?

Keith Pompey：
